BRAIN is an acronym for the services provided: B is for behavioral consultation, R is for rehabilitation, A is for assessment, I is for intervention, and N is for neuropsychology. When you only work with kids, you get Kids BRAIN!
Do you have a young child who struggles to connect socially? Kids BRAIN is excited to offer a new virtual parent training program called the Empowering the Spectrum of Parents (ESP) Program. This is specifically for parents of children aged 12 months to 6 years old with risk factors for autism spectrum disorders and related conditions. No formal diagnosis required. This program targets children who struggle to communicate, to engage with caregivers and peers, to understand how to play creatively and collaboratively, and to reach out to others around them to initiate conversation, play, and to truly engage. Course includes...
- 12 weekly 1-hour sessions offered in a virtual small group, parent training manual
- Topics include addressing challenging behaviors, increasing interaction, fostering engagement, building communication, and teaching play skills
- Direct coaching, video demonstrations, and a guided parent training manual
- Options for in-person support for a more hands-on experience (add-on service)
- Option for on-demand pre-recorded video training for those who wish to learn on their own schedule (https://kidsbrainllc.teachable.com/p/empowering-the-spectrum-of-parents-esp-program/)
